WHAT ARE THE MOST EFFECTIVE PLANS slimming?


With the cult of thinness, doubled fear of obesity, we are constantly talking about dieting. There are all kinds and they are more or less binding. Which of them is the most effective? Slimming diet: what are the basic rules to follow?

Slimming programs abound on the market. Announcing with aplomb excellent results with ease, they are all tempting. But in reality, there are one or more truly effective diets than others?
A team of researchers compared the effectiveness of different types of slimming programs available commercially. The experiment was conducted in England from voluntary overweight or obese. Divided into three groups, subjects were assigned to follow one of the following diets: Atkins (low carbohydrates - sugars), Slim-Fast program (high protein meal replacements) and Weight-Watchers (calorie reduction and participation weekly meetings). Finally, another group of people served as a control; he was asked not to change their eating habits or level of physical activity.

Similarly effective regardless of the regime

The experiment lasted 6 months, during which the changes in weight and fat mass was recorded for each participant. In the end, all plans were accompanied by weight loss, the amplitude was equivalent, an average of 6 months compared to control subjects: 5.9 pounds and 4.4 pounds of fat .
However, the Atkins diet was accompanied by a rather unusual weight loss since it was higher than that of other dieting during the first month. But later, the importance of weight loss has come to the other slimming programs. Thus, in the long term, in this instance over 6 months, the Atkins diet has not been more effective than others.

The regime in practice

Losing weight is a serious matter. It is recommended to follow a consultation with a health professional program. Otherwise, marketed schemes can provide satisfactory results, provided not to be followed for more than 6 months.
In terms of weight regulation, the most important thing is to change long-term eating habits. It is a long process, but it is limited, because it is the only way to achieve a lasting effect!
